Unboxing Boxycharm – July 2018


Hi folks,

Today I am going to share the unboxing of my Boxycharm box for the month of July 2018. 

Boxycharm is an online based beauty subscription box. In each box, the subscribers receive about 4-5 full-sized makeup/skincare products/beauty tools along with a card that showcases the theme of the month, description and price of the products featured and usually a discount coupon code for one or more of the brands featured in the month. The box costs $21 per month and Boxycharm claims that the value of each box is above $100.







I have been a subscriber of Boxycharm box for more than a year now and in my opinion, this is one of the best beauty boxes available in the market both in terms of value and in terms of the brands featured!

FARMACY BEAUTY – BRING ON MASK
Price: $38

Farmacy beauty is one of the clean brands as they avoid unwanted chemicals as much as possible. Bring on mask is a brightening mask which changes color from purple to green once applied and claims to remove impurities and brightens skin texture. This is one of the brands I have been wanting to try for a long time, especially their makeup cleanser because I have heard a lot of beauty vloggers rave about it. So, trying a new skin care product from this brand looks like a good start to go and invest further in this brand as the price range is slightly higher!



Subscribers received either Farmacy Bring on mask or dr. brandt needles no more® NO MORE BAGGAGE™ eye de-puffing gel

I am personally happy that I received Farmacy product because, I am so happy to try this brand, no that Dr. Brandt products don’t work for me.. it’s just that I have totally given up on my dark circles and I don’t need any more undereye products! ;-/

CROWN BRUSH – FUEGO EYESHADOW COLLECTION
Price: $29.99

This eyeshadow palette has warm undertones and is perfect for creating everyday looks. This is the nth palette I have received from Boxycharm.. but gurrrrl, no complaints!! One can never have too many eyeshadow palettes! >.<







Subscribers received either Crown Brush eyeshadow palette or Tarte Ready, Set, Radiant Mist
I have too many face mists, so once again I am happier about the eyeshadow palette that I received than the face mist.

WANDER BEAUTY - UNLASHED VOLUME AND CURL MASCARA
Price: $24

I have tried Wander beauty lipsticks before, this is the first time trying a mascara from this brand. It comes in a tube and it is so compact to carry.




NOTE COSMETICS – LUMINOUS SILK COMPACT BLUSHER
Shade: Desert Rose
Price: $11.99

In one of those Tata sky dishnet ads that keep popping up when you try to switch channels – I have noticed a scroller ad for Note Cosmetics. I was quite intrigued by the name that I wanted to try it, but weirdly it did not showcase any spot/site to buy it. So, I ignored it. This was at least 2 years back. Cut to the present, here it is! I am so happy that finally I could get my hands around it. Universe! Woah!

The shade Desert rose is a perfect corally peach and would flatter most of the skin tones. So happy to try it! 






CHELLA BEAUTY – EYEBROW CREAM
Price: $26

This is the first time I am hearing about this product, nevertheless, it looks so practical. It is brow pomade with a brush on one side and the waxy cream on the other side – so travel friendly, unlike other dip brow pomades where you carry a bottle and brush separately. Once again, kicked up to try this!




Overall value of the box: $129.98
I am extremely happy with the box because I get to try so many brands and products that I have been wanting to try for a super long time. This month’s box definitely excites me!

Will I continue to be subscribed? Yes, overall, I feel it is the best beauty box subscriptions around.

The Body Shop Lip Juicers – A review (Shhhhh… it’s an epic fail!)

Recently as I was browsing new beauty launches, my eyes fell upon this new product from The Body Shop (TBS) – Lip juicers. I love a good lip balm and I place one almost everywhere – my workstation, night stand, purse… you get what I mean right? Practically everywhere! I use TBS Born Lippy pot lip balm regularly and a new launch from TBS which had the cute adorable packaging made me curious! Add to it, the very unique flavors it came in – oh boy, I needed it! Tarte Shape Tape concealer – A review

Hi, Today we are going to review one of the best beauty products of 2017 which the entire beauty community raved about! Tarte Shape Tape contour concealer! Tarte Shape tape concealer is a full coverage concealer with a vegan formula. It applies matte and is easily blendable. Available in a wide range of shades (14!), it is priced at $27. Picking a shade or two lighter or darker makes it multitask as a highlighter or contour respectively. The main ingredients include Amazonian clay, conditioning mango seed and shea butters and it claims to promote skin elasticity and illumination. I got mine from Ulta.com . It can also be purchased from Tarte website. The Tarte Shape tape products are exclusive to Ulta and are not available in Sephora. The product comes in a tube packaging with a wand.
