Unboxing Boxycharm – June 2018

Hi folks,

Today I am going to share the unboxing of my Boxycharm box for the month of June 2018. 



Boxycharm is an online based beauty subscription box. In each box, the subscribers receive about 4-5 full-sized makeup/skincare products/beauty tools along with a card that showcases the theme of the month, description and price of the products featured and usually a discount coupon code for one or more of the brands featured in the month. The box costs $21 per month and Boxycharm claims that the value of each box is above $100.

I have been a subscriber of Boxycharm box for more than a year now and in my opinion, this is one of the best beauty boxes available in the market both in terms of value and in terms of the brands featured!

I love a good pair of lashes and so far, Ardell has been my favorite. So, I am excited to try this!







SOL DE JANEIRO – BRAZILIAN BUM BUM CREAM

This is a body cream which gives a subtle glow and leaves your skin absolutely moisturized. It also claims to tighten the skin which I don’t feel. But this product is just WOW. I already own full size of this and the smaller tub is absolutely travel friendly!

LUXIE – 3 PIECE FLAWLESS COMPLEXION FACE BRUSH

A set of three face brushes – Foundation, Highlighter and Powder brush

All my experience with Luxie brushes are only through subscription boxes and I have tried only eye brushes so far. So, I am excited to try this!!!

JONTEBLU – WATERPROOF EYELINER PENCIL

I don’t prefer pencil eye liners that aren’t automatic. So it’s just meh for me!

OFRA - LONG LASTING LIQUID LIPSTICK

Shade: Verona
Price: $21





Ofra liquid lipsticks are some of the best in the market though my personal favorite is Jeffree Star Cosmetics Liquid lipsticks. Shade Verona is a brownish nude and is a new addition to the line.

Some subscribers received GiRLACTIK MATTE LIP PAINTS instead of OFRA LIQUID LIPSTICK. I do own this and love love love Girlacktik lipsticks! So a bit of disappointment that I didn’t receive that!


Overall value of the box: $134

The lip product is the only variation in this month’s box – every other product is standard across all the boxes for subscribers.

Overall this month’s box is AWESOME!

Will I continue to be subscribed? Yes, overall, I feel it is the best beauty box subscriptions around.

The Body Shop Lip Juicers – A review (Shhhhh… it’s an epic fail!)

Recently as I was browsing new beauty launches, my eyes fell upon this new product from The Body Shop (TBS) – Lip juicers. I love a good lip balm and I place one almost everywhere – my workstation, night stand, purse… you get what I mean right? Practically everywhere! I use TBS Born Lippy pot lip balm regularly and a new launch from TBS which had the cute adorable packaging made me curious! Add to it, the very unique flavors it came in – oh boy, I needed it! Tarte Shape Tape concealer – A review

Hi, Today we are going to review one of the best beauty products of 2017 which the entire beauty community raved about! Tarte Shape Tape contour concealer! Tarte Shape tape concealer is a full coverage concealer with a vegan formula. It applies matte and is easily blendable. Available in a wide range of shades (14!), it is priced at $27. Picking a shade or two lighter or darker makes it multitask as a highlighter or contour respectively. The main ingredients include Amazonian clay, conditioning mango seed and shea butters and it claims to promote skin elasticity and illumination. I got mine from Ulta.com . It can also be purchased from Tarte website. The Tarte Shape tape products are exclusive to Ulta and are not available in Sephora. The product comes in a tube packaging with a wand.
