So, what’s brewing?

Hi folks,

I wanted to make a teatime chit chat kind of post with you and what better to discuss than TEA!
I am not a tea fanatic but a friend of mine made a great recommendation few years ago and ever since then it has been my go to beverage for at least 2-3 times a day. Therefore, today I wanted to share this small box of goodness with you.

FAB INDIA LEMON GINGER HERBAL TEA

Price: INR 150 for a box of 25 tea bags

It can be bought here

This is a lemon and ginger infused organic green tea. Fab India has lot of variants of this herbal tea with mint, fennel, basil etc. to name a few. Though I have tried most of it, this has been my go to BEVERAGE ever since I tasted it.

Preparation method:

Microwave water in a tall glass for 2 minutes or bring it to a rolling boil if you are heating water on a stove
Turn off the heat and place a tea bag in the water
Let it sit for at least 5 minutes (I let it brew for 10 minutes usually)
Remove the tea bag and drink it warm

Note: Adding honey or a sweetener of your choice is completely optional

This green tea has a mild taste with a subtle hint of lemon and ginger making it so flavorful. Green tea is loaded with antioxidants and health benefits – still some frown upon it due to its bitter taste, however, TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS – it is the first ever green tea that I have tasted that is not bitter at all. Add to it, the benefits of digestion and healthy weight loss!! Viola!

After a stressful day, I like unwinding with a large cup of this green tea! It relaxes and calms my mind! In my case, it also induces sleep, considering how much it soothes and de-stresses!

What is your kind of tea? Let us chat in the comments below!

XOXO
